Design Guidelines
We’ve got thousands of templates you can pick from to create your card , thanks to our amazing designers. But you can upload your own design, too. It’s as simple as selecting a file on your computer, but here are some important guidelines to keep in mind.
Bleed Area: 3.61"x 2.11"
If you’ve got a background color or pattern, make sure it extends a bit beyond the actual size of the card. That way, you’ll never end up with white borders, even if the cards are cut slightly off center.
Actual Size: 3.5"x 2"
Just like the name says, this is where we cut your cards. We do our absolute best to make sure all your cards are centered and uniform, but be sure to read about the safe printing area.
Safe Printing Area: 3.36"x 1.86"
You probably have any important text or design elements within this area, which isn’t much smaller than the actual size of the card. To guarantee nothing gets cut off, keep everything inside this box.
Business Card Size in Pixels: 1050 x 600 pixels
If you or someone on your team is creating your card in a design program, the actual size of the card is 1050 x 600 pixels. However, the full bleed size is 1083 x 633 pixels, and the safe printing area is 1008 x 558 pixels.
